Luke and I have just received an email from the Transglobe Expedition Trust saying that we have been awarded a 2,000 pounds grant to be spent on the expedition.

This is fantastic for us as we are eating like 10 men at the moment and after having climbed to 2,800m today to a village called Union. We have another 1,700 m climb in stall tomorrow and we are up at 3am for a 4am start so I´m off to bed.

A huge thanks to Sir Ranulph Fiennes (who sent his good luck message from Everest Base Camp!), Anton Bowring and the rest of the trustees for their support. It is very very much appreciated.
